Prof. Dr. Hayati Abd Rahman
Prof. Dr. Hayati Abd Rahman is a President of the Chapter of Perinatal & Paediatric Pathology, Senior Consultant Perinatal Pathologist and Medical Professor in Faculty of Medicine And Health Science, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) since 2011. Previously she was the Head of Perinatal Unit, Department of Pathology, UKM Medical Centre, where she was the key person who involved in setting up the unit. She is a Fellow of College of Pathologist, and a member of National Technical Committee of Perinatal Health, Ministry of Health Malaysia. She has been invited as a speaker to many seminars and conferences related to Perinatal Pathology, both local and internationally. Prof. Dr. Hayati has numerous published articles and extensive researches in placental stem cells and perinatal pathology.

Dr. Khairul Anuar bin Zainun
Dr Khairul Anuar Zainun is a Forensic Pathologist & Head of Department of Forensic Medicine Department of Hospital Serdang, Selangor. He is a medical graduate of Otago University, New Zealand. After completing housemanship training in Hospital Ipoh, he served as medical and health officer at clinics and hospital within Kinta District in Perak. He returned to Hospital Ipoh as forensic medical officer and later entered specialty training in forensic pathology of University Kebangsaan Malaysia. He was subsequently gazetted and served as Forensic Pathologist at Hospital Kuala Lumpur. Dr Khairul Anuar has a special interest in paediatric death investigation. He travelled to Sheffield Children’s Hospital, U.K. for subspecialty training, focussing on Coroner’s death investigation in perinatal and paediatric age groups within Sheffield and its surrounding regions. He enjoys teaching and is an active researcher with published articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr Khairul Anuar is a member of College of Pathology, Academy of Medicine Malaysia (AMM), Malaysian Medical Association and Malaysian Medico-legal Society. He currently sits in National Committee of Under-Five Mortality, Ministry of Health, Malaysia.

DR NUR SYAHRINA RAHIM
Dr Syahrina is currently a Consultant Pathologist in Faculty of Medicine and Health Science, USIM and had been with the faculty since 2006. Graduated with MB Bch BAO from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and then obtained her MPath (UKM) in 2010. She had further subspecialty training in perinatal/placental pathology and paediatric autopsy both at Sheffield Children’s Hospital and Forensic Department, Hospital Sungai Buloh. Since 2010, she is actively engaged with pathology services in Department of Pathology, Hospital Selayang particularly in placental and perinatal pathology as well as attending perinatal autopsy referral cases in other MOH hospitals. Besides her undergraduate teaching responsibilities, she is also involved with postgraduate teaching of placental pathology, including supervision of paediatric and perinatal autopsies. She has conducted and involved with seminars and workshop within hospitals and neighbour country, as well as in publications and researches. Her area of interest also extended to uteroplacental pathology and gestational pathology.
